Snow and Science!!

There has been a lot of snow this year so far. I have had fun playing in it and had some great snow-ball fights with Dad!

The other day, I went to s science show in Milton Keynes and it was great; it was filled with bangs, fizzes, pops and something unexpected! I think the best experiment was with marshmallows. They put the marshmallow in a container, and sucked all of the air out! The marshmallow went so big! I wanted to eat it. The scientists blew air back into the container and the marshmallow shrank! I wanted to eat it more than the big one!
They made this massive bang happen that, even when I blocked my ears with my hands, it still hurt my ears!
It was amazing all of the stuff they did and it was so good! The scientists that did the experiments were proper scientists, which I thought was amazing.

I have been to a new drama class and it was great! We played am amazing game; I had to stare into another person's eyes but I couldn't smile or talk or giggle. It was sooooo hard! For homework I have to read a book about a lion, a witch amd a wardrobe because we will be doing this in our play soon.

I also have to practice my Brownie Promise as I will be saying it for real tomorrow at Brownies. I am sad because my dad is away and he won't be there, but my Mam will be there. I can't wait to get my first badge. Yipeeeee!!!

Play-Date

My friends, Tilly and Lavinia had a play-date at my home with me! It was excellent and so fun. First, I showed them about Minecraft, next we made our little villages and homes and Tilly made a fair-ground. Finally, we got something to eat, some cheesy, delicious, succulent pizza! It was very yummy! We continued playing after lunch until the girls' mother came upstairs and said it was time to go. It was the best play-date ever! But the ending is never fun.

Christmas According to Humphrey

I have just finished reading my new book, Christmas According to Humphrey by Betty G. Birney! I loved it and couldn't put it down! This book is excellent for kids aged from 5/6 and over because it is quite long (200 pages) and it is hard to remember all of the characters' names. The book is about the school pet Humphrey the hamster, his best friend, Og the frog and his class-mates. The school is putting on a Christmas play called Winter Wonder Land. The play is excellent in the end, but the start isn't so good: Daniel doesn't practise playing the piano for the show and he sounds terrible, Holly makes presents for everyone at school but she doesn't get enough sleep and Joey is not very good at singing and the music teacher says he can't sing in the show because he is so bad. But in the end, it all turns out fine, with a bit of hamster magic!

The Last Wolf

I have just finished my new book The Last Wolf  by Micheal Morpurgo! This book is excellent, but not so great for children under 6 or 7 because it is hard to understand what some of the words mean and it is hard to follow.
This book is about an orphaned boy. Never found a home. However, he maneged to find an amazing friend, a beautiful orphaned wolf cub named Charlie. The cub's mother was hunted by humans and killed. This close friendship couldn't last for ever though as after the wolf grew-up, they parted ways and never saw each-other again.

Shadow

I have just finished my amazing, touching new book called Shadow by Michael Morpurgo! This book has a slow start, but if you wait a little bit this book is excellent. I wouldn't recommend this book for kids under the age of 6 because it is quite sad in parts, there are some hard and long words in it and is difficult to understand.
Shadow is about a little boy called Amam, his mother and of course, Shadow, the dog. This book was inspired from  the true story of a bomb sniffer dog who got lost when she and her handler were ambushed by the Germans in the second world war. The dog was thought to be dead. She travelled miles and found some people to return her to her owners! Exactly like Shadow in the book!

Christmas!

Christmas was excellent for everyone! Even Maisie! I got loads of things like this:  an Ipad from my dad, loads of bath bombs from my sister and some from my mam, Bop It Smash from my dad, a remote control car from my dad, a jelly bean machine from my mam and dad, a push-chair from my mam, a 3DS and Nintendogs +  Cats from Dad, loads of games from my brother Steve, scented bath cosmetics from my brother Ian, soft toys from my mam, a cute microwave toy from mam, and a 3DS cover and a game from my step brothers mam!

We had a lovely Christmas dinner! So did Maisie, she was hand fed turkey and gammon and the
tiniest bit of sausage!

My Birthday

I had my Birthday a day before my actual birth date because my dad wouldn't be here on my actual birthday so I had it a day before!

I got many things from my lovely family such as: a beautiful red charm-bracelet from my sister, a gift voucher for books at any bookstore from my brother Ian, a Nintendo gift voucher from my brother Stephen, some bath fizzes from my sister, some bath fizzes from my mam and the best present of my dad a 3DS and Nintendogs+Cats!
The Birthday cake was a chocolate flake cake and it was delicious! Yummy!
