Christmas is coming!

The Christmas lights in Milton Keynes Centre were amazing, I just had to show you! They had a lovely place set up with a pond, a bridge, a train, Santa's grotto, and everything is white!
There were lovely bright white lights and a beautiful carousel!

I have put up all of the Christmas decorations: all 3 trees, my little snow scean and some decorations for the window sill etc.!

A day in London

I went to London with my two best friends, Tilly and Lavinia! I loved going on the Tube and the train so much! On the Tube Tilly, Lavinia and I had a contest to see who could stand for longest without touching anything or falling over! (We drew.)

I went to the the Natural History Museum and had a look at a lot of things, but we still didn't get to see it all. I have been to the the Natural History Museum before, but I still love going there!

We went to Hyde park and there were a lot of dogs and tame squirrels! I threw a ball for a lovely black lab for a few minutes!

In London I went to the best toy shop ever, Hamleys! I bought a lovely wolf family there and a secret Christmas present for dad! I went to Trafalgar Square and I sat on the giant lion! I was so scared when my mam helped me get me down because we didn't realise how high up it was!

The Christmas lights looked lovely when it started to get dark.
When I was in Trafalgar Square I could see Big Ben over the horizon and a bit of the London Eye!

When I returned home I could hardly walk and my legs ached. When I was in bed my legs ached like they were being squashed between to giant steam rollers!

I have started piano lessons now and I've got my own keyboard! Piano is very hard to learn!

I am also starting Brownies and Badgers! Unfortunately I am not going to be in the Brownies Tilly and Lavinia are in, but I'm still looking forward to it!

Minecraft

I found this new game called Minecraft and I'm absolutely adddicted to it!
This game is NOT on a disc, you have to download it from Minecraft.net and it's free!

The minecraft world is made out of blocks and has rubbish graphics, but I don't mind!
On minecraft you have to build a shelter before dark to avoid getting killed by scary spiders, skeletons with bows and arrows, creepers that blow your nose off your face, zombies that are not that tough and endermen that can teleport a lot, so be carefull!
( I would advise you to build a house inside a big cliff.)

MINECRAFT ROCKS! I would give it 5 stars!

Born to Run

I have just finished a book called "Born to Run" by Michael Morpurgo. The book was excellent, but  some people might find it was quite sad and scary in parts. I would not recommend Born to Run for children under  the age of 5 because it has a lot of large and difficult words.

The storyline of Born to Run is about a Greyhound who had more than one owner and more than one name. The dog's first owner, Patrick, is an 8 year old boy who called him Best Mate and rescued him from drowning in a canal. His next owner, who called him Brighteyes, was called Becky. She saved Brighteyes from being put down because he had an injury. Last but not least is Joe, who called him Paddywack. joe took him in when Becky and her mother moved house and the rest I will leave for you to read yourself.

I would give Born to Run 5 out of 5 stars! It is 140 pages long and a great read.

Get the book here ---> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Born-To-Run-Michael-Morpurgo/dp/0007230591/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1350836065&sr=8-1

Nintedogs + Cats

Since it is getting close to my birthday and Christmas, I have looked at some things I might like and I have found Nintendogs + Cats on the 3DS!
I think that Nintendogs + Cats is a great game; it teaches kids about money and how to care for an animal. So, I think I'll get this for my birthday instead of Christmas because it's a week sooner!

Bolts' Seaside Adventure

I wrote a story about my two favourite toys:
                                            The Bolts’ Seaside Adventure

The Bolts, two handsome, courageous, white shepherd, rescue dogs were very excited.  They had decided to take a break and have a relaxing day at the beach.

The Bolts found a lovely spot on the soft warm sand with a lovely view of the splashing waves.

Nearby a group of school children arrived.

The Bolts had fun watching the children play in the soft sand. Some of the children were even having donkey rides! And some were having a sand castle building competion! Younger Bolt wished he had brought a bucket and spade!

The children were just starting to bring their picnic out. There were sweet, rich smells coming from the picnic basket. The smells filled Younger Bolts mind with food like succulent bacon, juicy steak, sizzling ham and other foods like that. The children threw scraps of the food to the Bolts! Mmmm . . .

Suddenly Older Bolts ears twitched. His erect pink ears had heard something, or someone, in the sea. Someone was in danger!

Suddenly Older Bolt leapt into the ocean’s rough and wild waves with his younger brother close behind him! They vanished in the cold water beneath the crashing waves!  The children stood there watching closely to see if they could see them. Everybody held their breath.  Then, with a big WOOOSH, the Bolts leaped out of the water tightly clutching a terrified donkey baby safely to the shore. The little donkey had wandered to near the water’s edge and had been swept in when no one was looking.

The Bolts were rewarded for their great bravery. The children thought they were heroes and shared the rest of their delicious picnic with them.

The Bolts can’t have one relaxing day, can they?!

SNO!slope

Me, just before sledging!

Today I had a great time sledging down a very big hill at Xscape!
I got very very wet; snow got in my pants, shoes and top!
I didn't care how cold or wet I was because it was so much fun!

I'll definitely do that again! Woohoo!

Thats me , in the middle at the top with a red sledge.

Afterwards, I went to Pizza Hut with my friends. Tilly stuck bread sticks up her nose!
I tried some new foods; lettuce, which was foul and sunflower seeds, which were not that bad!

He loved his birthday a lot.

Guinea pigs online

I have just finished reading this book called Guinea Pigs Online
The story was about three guinea pigs, Coco, Fuzzy and Eduardo and their adventures.
It was very funny and cute! I can't wait until the next book comes out Guinea Pigs Online Furry Towers!

Click here if you want to buy Guinea Pigs Online.

If I was to rate this book I would give it 4 and half stars. It lost half a star because it ended too soon!

BIG fun

I had an excellent weekend; my big brother Stephen came to stay! We played games, watched DVDs and had the best meal ever at Frankie and Benny's!
I'm so sad that he had to leave to go back home. I miss him.

Stephen and I are playing Disney on the Xbox kinnect

I had a "Not back to school" picnic today with my very best friends, Matilda and Lavinia! There were lots of children there.
I played in the woods and the maze! The food was excellent and the maze was a-mazing!
I love spending time with my friends and we are hoping to have a sleepover next week!

Guinea pig mcflurries

Today I went to Pets at Home to hold a guinea pig! He was very cute but I didn't get to hold him for long though. After that I went to The Centre MK and played in the sand pit for an hour!
Then my mam and I went to Mcdonalds. I had a Happy Meal and we had an excellent dessert, Galaxy caramel mcflurry. Yummy!

Guinea Pigs are OUT

I am writing this on my new laptop! I am so glad dad spilt juice on my old one!
I have changed my mind about the Guinea Pigs and decided to go with Chihuahuas instead!
Scientist believe that Chihuahuas wild ancestors are the Fenec Fox! I think it's true that Fenec Foxes are the Chihuahua's wild ancestors because they both have massive ears and adorable faces!
Chihuahuas are little dogs with big voices.

Legally Blonde

Yesterday I went to see Legally Blonde at the theatre in MK. I really loved it, it was excellent!
The seats were not very comfy and I didn't have a good view because there were heads in front of me.
The costumes were very colourful and very PINK and the best bit....there were 2 dogs in the show!

I would give the show 4 and a half (out of five) stars. I still prefer the cinema though!

Friends, theme parks and music!

A couple of days ago my very best friends Matilda and Lavinia came and had a play-date! I loved it a lot! We raced in the garden with Maisie, played on the wii and had pizza for tea! I hope they can come for a sleep-over one day and we can all squash into a double bed!

Gulliver's Land!

Yesterday I went to a theme park called Gulliver's Land! It was excellent! There was so many rides to go on. I would advise you to go on the Log Flume last unless you have a spare pair of clothes! I also went on this really scary ride with my mam! It was a pirate ship which swung wildly back and forth! We were both scared and my legs felt so weak and almost numb!

Here we go!!

I'm soaking!

Today I went to guitar lesson at the Buszy center and met a new friend.
I am also going to be learnng the recorder! Mam says she needs some ear-plugs!

Good news and really bad news.

Yesterday, my dad spilt juice all over my laptop and I think it's broke! So my dad has to buy me a new laptop and the CD that was in the laptop (The Sims 2 Seasons). My mam was NOT happy with dad!

I also have some good news! Team GB has got a silver medal for horse riding and a bronze medal for the men's gymnastics!

Pushwagner Exhibition & Pizza!!

I go to activities with my home-education group. Mam likes it because they are "educational". I like them because they are FUN!!
I went to the gallery at Milton Keynes and saw an exhibition by an artist called Pushwagner. I made a picture of a face just like the faces in Pushwagners drawings.

Me, with my Pushwagner face from the
SOFT CITY exhibition.

Showing off our faces!

We went to Pizza Express and made our own pizzas. I made a meat feast because I don't like vegetables. It was great fun and the pizza tasted delicious. Yummy!!

The Anglian Wolf Society

Today I went to a wolf sanctuary called Anglian Wolf Society. It was amazing. I truely loved it because wolves are one of my favourite animals. I have even made a lap-book all about wolves!
The sanctuary had four wolves, two males and 2 females. It was great to be able to see the wolves close up.

Male Alpha Wolf "Chezza"

There were also owls and bats to see, and the cutest African hedgehog!! They were amazing! The handlers were really friendly and told me all about the animals.
I bought a special treat . . . a furry wolf cub!

Eagle Owl!

Guinea Pigs

Have I mentioned I LOVE Guinea pigs?
Well, I do!
I have learned lots about Guinea pigs:
how to care for them, what to feed them, they have 20 teeth and 14 nails (4 on each front paw and three at each back paw). I know all about the best cages to buy.
How do I know all this? All thanks to this great website by a true Guinea pig lover:

Piggiepigpigs

You might be wondering why I don't have a Guinea pig of my own. . . my parents won't let me have any right now, but when I am 16, I am going to have lots!

The Olympic Games

Today is the start of the Olympics! I held the torch a couple of days ago and I felt like I carried it here!
There will be a lot of sport on the TV, so my dad is very happy... good thing I have got 2 TVs!
